Who are we?
We are 7 Degrees of Freedom, a student-run team from Huntsville, AL, built on the idea of individuality and in every voice being heard and valued. Each member specializes in a certain section of our team. Those sections are Build, Programming, and Outreach. Every student will get to work on every section, but primarily focus on their specialized area. We currently have 5 members and are open to applications for more! Who is Kraken?
This is our 2024-25 Into the Deep robot Kraken. He could score both samples and specimens and hang at level 2. He is sporting an active intake on extendable slides and a custom claw on a Coaxial Differential system. Fancy stuff, right? Since we aren't competing in the offseason, we have changed the design to show off some of the previous FTC games, such as Ultimate Goal, Powerplay, and Centerstage. If you find Kraken in the wild, ask to drive him, and you can earn a Robot Driver's License!
